Penn Vet | Ryan Veterinary Hospital

CJK McKissack is proud to have contributed to the excellence of Penn Vet’s Ryan Veterinary Hospital in Philadelphia. The main entrance of the university’s School of Veterinary Medicine Hospital underwent a comprehensive renovation to enhance its functionality and aesthetics. The project, executed in two phases, involved enlarging the lobby, reconfiguring the reception area, modernizing the waiting rooms, and expanding the business office—all while the hospital remained fully operational.

An addition to the existing vestibule introduced a new glass entrance, complemented by custom, illuminated signage. The revamped reception area now boasts an expanded reception desk and a new security workstation. The waiting room received updates including new seating, tables, audio/visual walls, and vending areas, with the associated restrooms also being renovated. Additionally, the new business office was designed with four workstations and improved storage and support facilities.

CJK McKissack expertly managed the construction of Penn Vet’s Ryan Veterinary Hospital, ensuring the facility met the highest standards for emergency care and seamless operation.
